Facility accommodations and services
Patients are encouraged to personalize their rooms with photos, blankets and other items of comfort, but please leave valuables at home. Below is a comprehensive list of amenities you can expect when staying at the Agrace HospiceCare campus. Click here to go on a virtual tour of our building.
- Free local calls
Local calls are free; long-distance calls require a calling/credit card. Dial “9” first for all outgoing calls. Incoming calls to your room can be received at any time. The inpatient unit can also be contacted at (608) 327-7174 to transfer calls to patients' rooms.
- Stocked library
Our library is stocked with CDs, DVDs and books that may be checked out at your convenience using the honor system. Community computers are also available in the library for patient and visitor use. Please see staff for any printing needs.
- Wireless internet access
Each room has wireless internet access and each library features a computer with internet access.
- Adjustable room temperature
Feel free to adjust your room temperature as desired or open the patio doors or windows. Patient beds can be wheeled onto the patio, weather permitting.
- Mail service
Mail is delivered each weekday. Stamped outgoing mail can be given to the receptionist or staff at any team station.
- Patient laundry service
Patient laundry service is available. Please see staff for this service.
- Whirlpool bath accessibility
A whirlpool bath is accessible for patient comfort.
- Free Cost Cutter services
Cost Cutters provides haircutting and styling services for our patients on Thursdays, without charge. Ask your care team if you are interested in any of these services.
- 24-hour nutrition centers
Throughout our facility are stocked refrigerators with a variety of snack items in them for patients’ 24-hour use. Please ask the team station for directions to the nutrition center nearest you.
- Family rooms
Patients and their guests may prepare and enjoy meals and celebrate special occasions together in Agrace HospiceCare’s family rooms, found throughout our facility. Reserve these rooms at the nearest team station.
- Playrooms/playground
Playrooms and an outdoor playground are available. Please see the Agrace HospiceCare map at the team station to locate these facilities.
- Chapel services
The interfaith chapel, located by the Anderson (west) front entrance, is open to patients and guests at all times. Services are held at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays and on other special occasions. All are welcome to attend. The chapel and other areas of the facility are also available for memorial services; see the team station for more information.
