Hockey Fans Can Donate Bears, Save on Tickets

[Janesville, WI] The Janesville Jets, the latest team to join the North American Hockey League, is partnering with Agrace HospiceCare at their Friday, March 12, game at the Janesville Ice Arena. Hockey fans can save $3 off the ticket price when they donate a new teddy bear to Agrace HospiceCare.’s Dori Bear Project.

The “Dori Bear” namesake is given to all teddy bears donated to Agrace HospiceCare in honor of Agrace HospiceCare patient Doris Klubertanz, who died in 1994. Because teddy bears were such a comfort to her, Doris left a gift to Agrace HospiceCare to establish the Dori Bear Project. Dori Bears greet patients as they enter their rooms at Agrace HospiceCare’s Inpatient Unit, give comfort to children who visit loved ones, and make their way to the homes of Agrace HospiceCare patients and their families.

Agrace HospiceCare. staff will be at the ticket counter to collect new teddy bears and patrons will receive a discounted admission price of $6. The Jets will be playing the Marquette Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. at the arena, located at 821 Beloit Avenue in Janesville.
